The Building and Code Staff Appreciation Day is celebrated every 1st of September each year. This day focuses on showing love and appreciation to people who dedicate their time in making buildings secure and up to code. They work hard to make sure that all of us are safe in our respective buildings, regardless of how high they are. They also make a lot of sacrifices to keep us safe. Hence, to pay them forward to all these sacrifices that they do, we celebrate the Building and Code Staff Appreciation Day each year.

About Building and Code Staff Appreciation Day
The Building and Code Staff Appreciation Day is celebrated to honor all those people involved in ensuring that buildings are built in full strength that no matter what the circumstances are, they will always remain strong and steady. Some of these people have a background in safety engineering. They train hard and do their best knowing that lives depend upon them. They work hard on a daily basis. To give back to them, we do a celebration called the Building and Code Staff Appreciation Day to let them know that they are loved and appreciated.

Unfortunately, we are not exactly sure how the Building and Code Staff Appreciation Day started. We do not know how it was founded and who started it. But when it comes to the reason why it was started, perhaps we can make a good guess. Maybe a person or some people thought that people in charge of making sure that our buildings are safe and secure undergo a lot of stress in their lives that they deserve a special day of recognition – which is the Building and Code Staff Appreciation Day.
