Then perhaps accept what others say, don't belittle their point of view, and maybe things will return to the intent of the thread. But if you push down someone else's valid perspective, don't be surprised when they reaffirm their point, mirroring your own action. Especially when your point is based on your perception.

Yep, just remember, jurisdictions are often compelled to select the lowest bidder. You get what you pay for. Not sure how the bid package would affect the permit fees?

It's not that easy. It should not cost the jurisdictions anything, in fact they make money on it. The 3rd party issues the permit when the applicant pays them their fee. Jurisdictions just care what their kickback is.
