2019 Triennial Code Adoption - DSA Structural Safety
The Division of the State Architect’s (DSA) Triennial Code proposals for Parts 1, 2, 10 and 12 of the 2019 California Building Standards Code (Title 24) were adopted by the California Building Standards Commission (BSC) at the meeting held December 4-5, 2018.
DSA’s code proposals for Parts 3, 4, and 5 will be reviewed and adopted by the BSC at a meeting scheduled for January 15-16, 2019. The approved standards will be included in the 2019 California Building Standards Code (Cal. Code Regs., Tit. 24), and published on or before July 1, 2019.
All approved standards are effective January 1, 2020, with the exception of revisions to the California Administrative Code (Cal. Code Regs., Tit. 24, Part 1) which became effective January 8, 2019.
