ADA Accessibility Guidelines

Seminar attendees are provided certificates to fulfill SB 1608 - the mandatory ADA training required of California architects. In addition, AIA members receive 2.5 HSW learning units.

At the conclusion of this seminar, you will have a thorough understanding of:

• The agencies that regulate the ADA and how they have created these new regulations.

• The ways in which these new regulations will be more stringent than the California Building Code; how they extend accessibility into sectors not previously regulated by minimum construction standards.

• When the new rules apply and how to bring your projects into compliance.
