Cable Ties (zip ties) used in plenum spaces

The NEC seems to be falling in line with other codes when it comes to plenum spaces. The changes in NEC 300.22(C)(1) added some very specific language addressing this code section and the use of cable ties.

Do you want to see the package when "zip ties" are used in this application?

Do you ensure the zip ties are tested and approved under UL 2043-2008 with the correct flame and smoke spread?
