Again, I post this here because it is viewed more... sorry and thanks

I am going for my certification in the IBC commercial inspector but I see there are many different study guides (structural, fire and safety, etc.)

Is there one certification for the IBC or is it a composition of numerous cert.'s?

If a person is able to obtain one , all encompasing, cert for IBC, what is the best study guide(s) available?

Thanks again

You need to get a copy of the ICC National Certification Bulletin directly from the ICC website. (www.iccsafe.org) Each and every certification exam is outlined along with the associated references. That's all you need. No other studies guides or materials are necessary.

Figure out what certification you want. Identify the exam necessary for that certification. Get the reference materials listed and study them. When you know the reference material back and forth, take and pass the exam. Hang certification on wall.

When I got mine there were a lot of concrete, fire walls, draft curtains...lot's of fire stuff.
