Not where I really want to be
If you've been paying attention lately, you will see that not only have I moved some things around and changed some descriptions for TBCF, which is a constant work in progress, but I have been creating lots of code and industry-related articles. All of these changes serve a purpose, the keep this forum relevant and hopefully future-proof it in the wake of the AI invasion.

Each and every one of you helped to build this site by participating and creating content. it is a place to collaborate, a place to hash things out when we disagree, and of course, a place to learn. The articles I am putting out are coming at a fast pace because they have to. We need more relevant content that is educational ASAP. The articles will slow down, I just hope that they don't overload your feed. All of this content helps us to be relevant and move up in the world of the internet.

I have always done what was necessary to keep this forum up and running and relevant. From changing software twice, to moving through 4 different servers before we landed on AWS. Having an SSL certificate for the safety of our members, a legal privacy statement, and terms and conditions. I have been through 3 different IT companies that help guide me through the technical process of keeping this site safe from outside attacks and I rely on volunteer moderators to keep out SPAM.

So bear with me as I try to future-proof this site in hopes that people will always want to collaborate and hear from others across the globe on their opinions for different code situations. If anyone has any ideas, always feel free to share them. I am not always right, I make mistakes, however, I am committed to making this forum a relevant leader in the industry we chose to work in.

Tempted to click the report button...LOL.....We appreciate your efforts Jeff! I know AI will get there at some point, but it is woefully inadequate now....But I guess human knowledge is no different....

Yes, I've done some testing with AI and it is absolutely nowhere near where it needs to be when it comes to building codes. It is getting closer every day, but it can't grasp some of the questions I pose to it because for now it takes a human to reason and know how things are connected, whereas AI is very binary.

I will only comment that I admire your focus on the site and go our ability to write the articles/essays. Very well written and thoughtful. Thanks!
