Hello All,
During recent inspections at several community facilities in my area of Virginia, it was discovered a fire protection company was inspecting and cleaning some Type 2 hoods for commercial dishwashers and not others. My questions to those of you out there are "Have you ever encountered this?" and "Is there a requirement that they be cleaned regularly?" These hoods would, of course, be used to exhaust condensate or steam. My research so far has led me to the conclusion that there is not. Thanks for any insight you can provide.
