Clear floor space requirement 2009 ICC A117.1

Project information:
1. R-2 apartment (ANSI type B unit)
2. Washer and Dryer will be provided in small room (6'-6"x 5'x5'-5")
3. Double 2068 doors centered in room.

Question:
Can you utilize the door openings for the clear floor space of the front load washer and dryer?
 
For front-loading machines, a forward approach shall be provided (ANSI A117.1, Section 1004.10.1). Since the clear floor space is required to be only 30 inches wide, the four-foot width of the doorway would allow a forward approach. There are no provisions on the placement of the clear floor space in relation to the laundry machines for Type B units. I would assume that they would be allowed to be centered.
