Clearances around a pool?

An above ground pool IS typically it's enclosure (minus the ladder)....So....no...

Type of pool should not matter for barrier requirements.....nothing specified....In my codes, which may be slightly different in CA....
I'm not aware of any requirement in any code. But then, sometimes I'm not even aware of my surroundings.
In my time as an inspector, I have seen one pool enclosure. It has zero clearance on two sides.
I posted pictures at the forum because of bonding issues.
I plastered pools for a few years and didn't encounter any then either. A coworker's relative enclosed his pool and the water became too warm for swimming.
