collapsible revolving door

If you push it hard, would it rotate (revolve) rather than collapse?
How about if it stopped with a person trapped.... or worse, a person hasn't cleared the opening and it hasn't stopped... in which case it should collapse and stop. I haven't a clue as to the safety mechanisms built in. There's one at the local hospital and it moves faster than I would recommend but it's not a carnival ride so I can't say anything.
