Colorado

My Missouri friends all act like I moved to Alaska or something. Fine with me, traffic is bad enough here as it is! :D
Not all of your Missouri friends did. ;-) I think Colorado is beautiful. :D

Was out there two weeks ago....beautiful, sunny, 60 degrees and January. Carried my coat the whole time. Returned home to teen temps and cold wind gusts. Miss it already.

Oh come on Papio, no complaining. It's 61 outside today here in Huskerland.
What, you'd keep me from our national past-time? Besides, I get to be outside all day and I don't have to work when I am in Colorado. That beats 61 on the Cornhumper Coast anyday. ;)

Hey its nice today here in the show me state, and I love the people here. Spent most of my live going back and forth from denver area to MO, and have to say I miss my friends there and skiing in my shorts and T-shirt.

Hey thanks for all the nice things y'all posted about CO! I love it here, I like visiting other places, and always swore I would be headed north because of all the people moving in, but I'm still here. The Black Hills of South Dakota (or western Wyoming) would be about the only place place I would consider.

I lived in Manitou Springs for a few years. I remember one project where every day, a little tiny storm would make it's way between some peaks and dump rain and hail, lots of hail. We would take our lunch break as soon as the storm started. It would last for 15 minutes and then it would be a nice sunny day again. I've often thought about going back for a visit and by now, it should be safe to do so.
