This is for a maintenance facility for military vehicles. Anyone aware of any code requirement to label the piping with the system pressure?

Requirement was not specified in the RFP to use the gov't guide specs...

Does it even do any good to label them?

Thanks in advance

you can look up MILSPECS, but may not find anything; label it for what it is: compressed air.. just like we label condensor water supply/return, steam supply/return, etc.

(PE)ach & others,

"Hoons" may be looking for a chapter & verse by which to require the labeling. Seems like I remember

something in the old NAVMILSPECS, but that was many moons ago and it would not even apply today

anyway.

Maybe an OSHA requirement?

.

They're going to label it "compressed air" but not the system pressure..

Then "compressed air" should say enough.. OR UNDER PRESSURE.. It's a maintenance facility.. the workers should understand either term.
