Ever heard of a CST certification? Sounds to me like someone wants a babysitter on a construction site (but I could be wrong).

Thanks

Peach,

I searched the web and it could mean most anything. There seems to be CST Certifications for everything from Certified Salesforce Tobacconist to Customer Service Technician. The closest I came to what we do is; "Certified Survey Technician";

The World Safety Organization has this one;

WSO Entry Level Certification - an entry level certification for the beginning practitioners in the safety profession.

WSO - Certified Safety Technician - (WSO-CST)- no examination required.

"Once we have your application for certification, the two candidate evaluation forms and a current resume/CV, we will process this package and send it to the WSO Certification Board for their evaluation. It takes about two weeks to get the Board responses back in our office. If you are approved for a certification that does not require an exam, as soon as you pay the required fees your certificate will be forwarded to you. "

The Associate membership is $55.00 U.S. funds; the price of dinner at a cheap restaurant.

I think I'll add this one to my Certs :)

Hope this helps,

Uncle Bob

Construction Management firm asked me about it.. Might be part of a project spec.. I'd never heard of it, so I thought I'd ask you fine folks. (Maybe something to do with the PROBE?)

thanks

Certified Survey Techician would be my guess

The Certified Survey Technician program (CST) focuses on the testing of applicants who have varying degrees of surveying experience. Based upon individual experience and test results, certification is awarded. By including "CST Preferred" in your advertisements, you are promoting a program that helps you as an employer.

Sounds like it still misses the mark.. I told the CM firm that "we" collectively are clueless of what they are looking for.
