I am blown away, baffled, mind boggled.........I got a call the other day about the USFS project from another party involved on the project wanting to know if I had inspected the framing. I said 'no' but I had seen it. The engineer was voicing concerns that metal studs were being used when the plans called for DF #1. I told him that I had requested a change order/RFI for the changes.

It was then that I found out from the engineer that one of the two non-licensed contractors on the USFS project just got his license reinstated. :censored

It is the contractor that I have a subpoena to testify against this spring. He has 10 pending charges against him for butchering a wood stove install done without a permit and taking the homeowner for about $7500.

I called my contact at the CSLB to see what is going on. He was as shocked as I was. :o He is looking into it as I type. No wonder these idiots think they can do whatever they want. :banghd
