i have some control areas for storage of oxygen being proposed. will these rooms require explosion proof lighting and seals? how are these areas classified per article 500? any help from those with knowledge is greatly appreciated!

Re: control area wiring

The NEC requirements for electrical instalations in areas with hazardous materials does not depend upon the building code classifying the area as a Group H occupancy or a control area.
