I have a multi-story residential building with a partial 2-story volume over the Leasing/Clubhouse area on the 2nd Floor; where the 2-story volume is adjacent to the Corridor, are both sides of the Corridor required to maintain the 1-Hr Rating?

Question to experts - Could this 2-story opening be considered an atrium and therefore separated from the corridor by glass and closely spaced sprinklers as described in 2018 IBC 404.6?
