Is the cast iron holding the PVC up?

Are you going to get fired if you make them tear out all this crap? I wouldn't last till lunch time in Pennsylvania; or is that lynch time?

I'd be more concerned with the plastic dryer vent. There's a house fire waiting to happen!

[ 5 ] some sort of rubberized dryer vent piping thingy

[ 6 ] cast iron "

[ 7 ] rubberized flexible couplings

[ 8 ] some sort of metallic clamp affixed on to the rubberized dryer venting

...did I guess the correct amount?
