This story has been around a while. When I first heard it I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt but the more I hear, the more I think they should go to jail.
 
Building collapses, concrete form collapses so carpenter's mistakes can and do kill. I guess someone could drown in a basement or I guess there is that rare person that lethally reacts to sewer gas from venting problems. Less common than electrical but happens. There's also the combo effect where the plumbers decide to be carpenters and cut a main beam.
