Can a curb ramp share a landing with an actual ramp with railings at the bottom landing? Couldn't find anything specifically related to this, any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Could you share a drawing or sketch of the layout you are talking about? It's a little hard to interpret what you're saying the layout is.

You need a 5 ft. landing at the bottom of the ramp (405.7). You also need a landing 36" x the curb ramp width (406.4). There needs to be enough space for a wheelchair to get around the curb ramp without having to roll over the ramp or flared sides (403.3 & 403.5.1).

The ramp needs to be moved back farther from the curb ramp in your illustration to accomplish this.

Yes, in the picture, the landing at the ramp has the appropriate landing as well as the curb ramp, 60 inches long and more than the 36 inch width. The curb ramp is sharing that landing however. The curb ramp has the appropriate dimensions if it were by itself at the top, just not sure if it can share landings with a regular ramp like that as I can't find any information on it.

After looking again, I realize it doesn't have the appropriate side entry for that type of landing. Thanks!

It appears that the 36-inch-wide minimum continuous accessible route comes to a less that 36-inch-wide route at the pinch point of the extending handrail going to the left of the shared landing. Curb ramp flares create cross and running slopes the intrude into the continuous route going around to the left of the ramp and curb ramp. This could be a violation of the ADA if built as shown.
