Daycare Exiting Question

Daycare travel distance in a sprinklered building is 200'. If I am egressing from classroom 118 to Exit 1, travel distance is 88' (complies), but if I calculate to Exit 3, it is 220' (does not comply). My question is whether or not Exit 2 would count as a second exit, because if you measure to the entrance into the exit passageway from the daycare, the doors would be remote enough, but not if you have to measure to where the door exits to the exterior. IBC defines "exit passageway" as an exit component and an "exit" as the portion of a means of egress system btw the exit access and the exit discharge or public way. Exit components shall include exterior doors at the level of exit discharge, interior exit stairways and ramps, exit passageways, exterior exit stairways and ramps and horizontal exits.
