DAYTONA BEACH — An expert on on helping businesses comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act will be the guest speaker at next week's board of directors meeting of the Hotel & Lodging Association of Volusia County.
Julie Shaw, president and CEO of Disability Solutions for Independent Living, will discuss ADA law and important compliance issues for hoteliers and other business owners in Volusia County. Based in Daytona Beach, Disability Solutions is a nonprofit agency that helps those with disabilities to achieve an independent lifestyle.
The meeting is at 9 a.m. Wednesday, at the Gold Star Ballroom, 3100 S. Ridgewood Ave., South Daytona. Call 386-257-6828 for details.
