Take the stairway out and install a pulldown ladder. Pulldown ladders don't have to meet code; remember?

U B - Wouldn't that be a 'pull-UP' ladder?

Jeff - Slide some felt paper under the wood at the concrete floor, add solid risers, a guard on the open side and toss in a 'hold harmless' agreement and they're good to go! :eek:

Step 1 - buy a heavier compressor.

Step 2 - bungee the vertical support to the compressor.

Step 3 - duct tape guard to compressor - you're good to go.
