Sometimes I begin a reply and then decide not to. (You're welcomed.) How do I delete that? Seems the partial post keeps coming back.

You didn't hit "Post reply" yet?

Put your cursor at the end of the partial post, backspace until it's all gone, and click anywhere else on the screen.

HA! I do this a lot. I usually realize that I have figured out the answer by writing the question, or that the answer is obvious. Sometimes I just get scared everyone will think I am a dumbarse.

I will try the Yankee trick.

Interesting if you delete the text and just go back, the text is there when you open the thread. But the click anywhere else - non-link - it works.
