Think you know everything about the ADA and FHA? Think again. And remember: What you don't know could hurt your career.

At this interactive half-day workshop, you'll explore critical issues like these:

• The legal aspects of the ADA and FHA

• Your responsibilities for compliance

• How lawsuits have radically changed the legal landscape for architects

• How to avoid common design and construction oversights that lead to non-compliance

• Emerging trends in accessibility, including the cutting-edge "Doctrine of Visitability"

• How to create more livable spaces

In the architecture field, accessibility is more than just a trend—it's a core component of good design. Sponsored by AIA Trust, this workshop dives deeply into best practices for accessibility and the associated legal implications.

Better bet if you are already planning to go to Atlanta, consider ADA Symposium 2015 (25th anniversary of ADA from Monday thru Wednesday of the same week. Stay at Peach Tree Center, same as AIA. Only $600.00 for 3 intense days of ADA immersion with Access Board speakers and others. This is one of the better kept secrets, folks from all 50 states (expecting 750 attendees this year)
