E-Plan submittal DPOR verification - kudos to LADBS!

It's not often I have positive things to say about the bureaucracy at LADBS, but I want to give them credit for their "background check" on the use of professional licenses for online / paperless submissions. I got the following printed letter in the USPS mail today, and yes the submittal was legit (done by my coworkers at my request and oversight).
I'm guessing they have some kind of software that triggers an alert when the applicant (my coworker) is a different name than the DPOR.

It's nice to know that the city permit staff is on the lookout for fraud / misrepresentation at time of project intake. You may want to consider a similar approach in your own building departments.
