EGC to Box Connection

Would this be a violation?
If you think so, what NEC code section would you use to cite this installation?
(yes, the debris in the box is also an issue and has a separate violation)

BTW retired electrician of 20 years ago.... Man has the NEC changed.

Correction - left the contractual side of electrical work 20 years ago...... prior to Arc Fault, GFCI requirements, etc. More of a romex jockey with light commercial...did the work on off shift days when I was a firefighter.
