Electrical For Pump House

A friend and I were talking about this last night. I didn't have an answer, but, she had a good point - pipes bursting and pump house getting wet. So, now for the question -

Would you require the electrical outlets inside a pump house to be GFCI? Section please.

Thanks.
 
It may be smart to have GFCI protection in a pump house; I can not find a code section making it a requirement.

Thanks, that's it. We're talking about a pump house located on a parcel serving one residence.
 
Yep, since the premise (this is a residential code thread) you are dealing with an accessory building to the dwelling so Raider1 would be 100% correct.
