Emergency Exit Seals

I'd love to have anyone's feedback on the product I just posted on my blog: http://idighardware.com/2014/02/wwyd-emergency-exit-seals/.

Would you approve these on an egress door? Would you impose a limit on the force required to break the loop, or other limitations?

Alot of these look no more difficult to break than a fire extinguisher seal and I would not unduely interfere with egress. Note also that momentum as the door opens would reduce to force needed to break them. A full zip tie would be too much. They are alot better than a padlock hasp on the outside of the door--and I have busted one of them from the inside of a burning trailer to let the smoke, steam and heat out-- It took a bit more doing than I had hoped to open that door.

Hard to say without destructive testing. the one with the chains i would have some issue with, the paper seals, no problem. why not delayed egress hardware with alarms?

I don't neccessarily understand the use other than TSA or Homeland to know a door has not been opened.....Are they listed as fire or panic hardware?
