Does the building code require all elevators to have emergency light in the cab??

Say 2015 IBC.

If so, which edition of IBC started requiring it?

Do you all check for it?
 
Totally shooting from the hip...Not required as the elevator is not a MOE or a place that requires 2 exits....But I will have to look that up now....

Actually that is starting to change... some elevators are now potentially part of an accessible MOE.
As for the OP, not sure.
