exception for commercial dishwasher hood?

does the 2009 IMC provide an exception for a commercial dishwasher exhaust hood if the hvac system is NOT designed to handle the additional temp & humidity from the DW?

I think 507.2.2 is clear;

"except where the heat and moisture loads from such appliances are

incorporated into the HVAC system design or into the design of a separate removal system."

Agree with Fatboy. Same way here. We have only had the design submitted once, but when they found out they needed a hood for the range too, the design went away.
