Can anyone point me toward a rigid insulation product that is rated to be installed on the inside face of an exterior building wall and be left exposed?

I think I found one, but their data is written for 2012 IBC and does not include the additional performance requirements stated in 2015 IBC.

One company did not answer their phone and another's website contact page does not seem to be working.

Thanks!

The only ones I know of are fiberglass, rock wool, and foam glass.

There may be some foam plastics with 1/2" drywall laminated to them, but I don't know of any foam plastic that can be left exposed in anything other than an attic or crawl space.

Thanks for the responses. Owens Corning looked promising for a while until I asked specific questions. They claimed it would only be applicable to Group U or cold warehousing.

Dow was one of the companies I was unable to contact. I'll read the msds link you provided.

You may want to consider an insulated metal liner panel. It has the prefinished powder coated metal skin which you can leave exposed. The insulation would be a dense polyurethane but overall thickness of the panel depends on what is required by energy code or whatever your needs are.

You'll have different choices for colors and finishes as well. There are some that look like stucco, concrete, textured metal or smooth metal.
