Potatoes in a Minnesota warehouse burned for several hours.

Crews were dispatched at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday to R.D. Offutt Co. warehouse near Perham, according to Grand Forks Herald.

Witnesses told reporters the fire originated in the south part of the building and spread north.

At least two semi trucks were seen inside the building, engulfed in flames. An unknown amount of potatoes and other contents were also inside.

“It’s going to be a long night,” said Frazee firefighter Tyler King said Tuesday night.

King said crews ran into some issues with fire hydrants freezing up earlier in the evening, but city workers quickly solved the problem. A broken water main in the area also added to the night’s challenges, but did not have much of an effect on water pressure at other hydrants

You would have to get picky on how they were stored.... "storage of noncombustible materials such as products on wood pallets or in paper cartons with or without single thickness divisions; or in paper wrappings. Such products are permitted to have a negligible amount of plastic trim, such as knobs, handles or film wrapping.".....And then you would have to argue about noncombustibility of the actual food products....

I always go S1 until they prove S2....they usually don't give me enough info initally to know for sure....
