fire alarm pull box locations at entry ways

at entryways my understanding is that you need a fire alarm pull station within 5 feet of the door. We are currently calling for a pull box next to each entry door. I would like to have a single pull box located between the doors but i'm not sure if that is allowed or do you need 1 per door.

Manual fire alarm boxes shall be located within 5 ft (1.5 m) of each exit doorway on each floor.
