I have a proposed project with a sprinkler system, a type I hood with suppression and RTUs with duct detectors.

The occupant load of the building does not trigger the requirement for a fire alarm system but do the systems noted above mandate the alarm system?

Yes, but

We would require monitoring only

No a/v though out

One a/v outside and at least one some place where it could be heard inside

Hood system tied in to give alarm condition

Ducts tied in for supervisory signal

From 09

903.4 Sprinkler system supervision and alarms. All valves controlling the water supply for automatic sprinkler systems, pumps, tanks, water levels and temperatures, critical air pressures and water-flow switches on all sprinkler systems shall be electrically supervised by a listed fire alarm control unit.
