Who, in your jurisdiction, inspects the fire pump wiring? electrical inspector or fire marshal?

that's our position too.. but I haven't met many electrical inspectors who know the NEC provisions "the fire marshal always does that". ... I believe there are a lot of fire pumps out there not wired correctly.. because no one is looking at them.

It must be a regional thing. We have a similar thing with overlap on fuel pumping stations because the PA DEP does inspections and so do we but they are not certified for electrical. There is definite overlap because we are looking at much of the same thing but they are there for a different reason such as E stops, fuel lines, conduit seals, etc.

electrical inspector for methods and taps, Building Commissioner and Fire inspector for correct controls, taps and acceptance testing
