I thought all electrical cable has outside jacket markings!

Not true, 400.6 Markings, flexible cords are allowed to be marked by a printed tag on the reel, coil or carton. You learn something new every day!

The reels at the electricians shop?? no way to verify at inspection. Playing phone tag with the electrician.

How do you get compliance?

Possibly have the EC to bring the tag from the reel, ...a "cut sheet" from the

manufacturer and an actual piece \ length of the same flexible conduit to you

for inspection................Otherwise, you are assuming it's compliant !

Often, ...a "Stop Work Order" can help with the communications process.
