This one hour webinar will provide you with a more complete understanding of inspecting and/or approving the inspection of a fire-rated opening. This session is based on the requirements of the 2007 edition of NFPA 80 Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives. Regardless if your state enforces NFPA 80 or not, this session will leave you with a greater awareness of how a fire rated opening should be inspected in accordance with the International Building and Fire Codes.

The instructor for each of these sessions are long time members of the Door and Hardware Institute and hold the designations of Architectural Hardware Consultant, Certified Door Consultant or Fire Door Assembly Inspector. The instructors volunteer their time in support of the Door Security & Safety Foundation.
