Garage Wall Bracing

We don't need no stinking wall bracing!

Found this in another jurisdiction we were called to for an electrical inspection.

That shouldn't be too tough of a fix....looks like they might have 24" to create a panel or they can use the APA 16" panel technique.....maybe...
 
Struggle against this every day. Literally every day! They probably do have room to provide minimum portal frame panels but finding a header stretcher isn't easy these days.
 
Which brings up another question - what do you do about it? Tell the AHJ what to do? Point out thier problem? Or MYOB?

Standing like that until we have strong winds.

We do have straight line winds in our area. These are minimum standards but I see your point.
