2023 NEC. In other than a dwelling unit, in an office break room/kitchen is GFCI protection per 210.8(B)(3) required throughout the room or only the "areas" of the room used for food prep, beverages or cooking? The break room has a sink, range, frig and is fairly large, to include some area for sitting at a table I presume. Is the entire space covered by (2) as a kitchen? In this case all receptacles along the counters are GFCI, but several receptacles on the other walls are not. The closest non-GFCI is about 18' from the front of the counter.

I don't think you would need to have a physical wall to delineate the dining area from the food preparation area. Seems like 18' away is no longer in the food preparation area.

Cheers, Wayne

This is my thinking as well. Thanks.
