Had to say it, whoda thunk it? Richmond is almost as hot as April 1865!!! VCU class of 1977
 
Only 2 of the 5.9 million brackets filled out in ESPN's contest got the final 4 right.

And if VCU goes all the way a guy that $10 bet on the Rams in Vegas before the tourney will receive a payoff of $50 000

Frank C? I read that last night on the computer.................loving this run and I can't find my VCU hat anywhere in the house! I have the Richmond TD poster on my office door though. Tom Elliott, City of Charlottesville
 
Had never heard of them before the last couple of weeks.. but since every other "local" (DC, VA, MD) got shot out of the water early... GO RAMS!

Too bad it can't be VCU vs. Butler for the championship.. NO one would have guessed that... so now.. VCU gets to pick on someone their own size.. :)
 
Peach: VCU's recent claim to fame was a first round win over Duke a few years back (think it was 2008) in the NCAA tournament. I agree with your VCU vs Butler game plan. That would have been unique in an NCAA championship game..........# 8 vs #11. It's been fun, hope they can last but it's been great with the wins so far. Unbelievable watching VCU vs Kansas..............sorry, Rock, Chalk fans!
