I am so pleased with a product that I just have to tell you about it.
Alpine WSG insecticide.
I had a termite company guy tell me that is what they use to control bugs of all kinds. We have battled ants. I have used bait traps, homemade stuff with Borax and the ants keep coming until they just get tired of it.

Alpine WSG is a game changer. Find an ant trail and spray it and within minutes the invasion is over. It lasts for weeks....maybe months because they have not returned.
Amazon refuses to ship it and it can be bought through Walmart that sends you to a supplier for shipping. The stuff is absolutely amazing. The pest company guy said that they spray it in kitchens and pets are not an issue. I didn't spray anything other than the ant trails and out of a gallon I have used a couple shot glasses worth...if that. One packet mixes with one gallon. I bought the three packet deal but I can see where one would last me for years to come.

Trust me on this. I have no motive other than I was woefully dismayed once a year during ant season and this stuff fixed it. I use a small sprayer like Wendy has for cutting my hair.

This stuff works so good that you owe the Forum a tip. And if you're not satisfied Jeff will refund the tip

For as good as you make it sound, I was expecting it to be nasty. Actually, it doesn't look that bad.
Not at all. I have to be extra careful about what we use around the house because my wife is a super-smeller. She won'r even use soap in the dishwasher. I sprayed a spot on the granite counter, painted baseboard and a wood floor. There are no stains.
We did everything that we could think of to stop the ants at the kitchen and a downstairs bathroom. I put baits that are supposed to kill the colony but the entire colony paid the traps a visit. They track sticky poison away from the trap and it might go on for a week. Alpine shut it down in five minutes. It might be answered prayer as that was also in my arsenal.

I might give packets out for Christmas.
