Health Board + Trespassing + Building Inspector

It might shame a couple of them into doing something, but most won't care, if they had any pride, their buildings wouldn't be in that shape. Most will say just spell my name right, any publicity is good publicity.
 
Selectman Mark Dowgiewicz says it costs up to $9,000 per year for police responses and other expenses to deal with squatters, vandals and other problems.
Secure the buildings as a city, Attach the cost to the taxes and get your money back.
 
No. Not only in Massachusttes. It's been done before with some success. When we placard a building as unsafe - and there are no size limits in the code for the placards - it must be in plain sight anyway. If the property is the subject of an abatement program some of the postings will need to include owner information. If it is to be demolished by government a public notice must be put in the newspaper.
 
Red is a really good color to post in. A hot color gets attention.

It doesn't really matter how you post a structure.. there is still all the constitutional stuff you need to do.... trust me.
