Whether or not you like the Obamas or the Bidens, consider helping the troops:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/joiningforces

almost all of us have a called up reservist or NG soldier.. reach out and help if you can. Even a polite word means the world to the family members.. I'm guessing fat boy would agree.

Peach: Politics has no place when it come to our troops. I believe we can all agree on this. When I come in contact with one in a coffee shop, or train station that is on his or her way of coming or going I always stop them and say thank you! It most often brings a smile! Small gestures some time go a long way!

Have been supporting them

See it takes a little while for others to get on board

Election year near?

My son is in the final week of his training to be an Army Medic, and will probably be deployed within the next year.

Thank you, Peach, for sharing this - any may ALL of our courageous soldiers return home safely soon.

One of our Captain's son's is over there and a "medic" for a hunt group. We watched this young man grow up and are so proud of his service. To all of you with family in the service.....a big thanks!
