I have a laundry room going into the basement of an existing time share - two commercial washers and three commercial dryers (gas) for an employee to use. The room has been designed by a liscensed professional incluiding requirements for make-up air for combustion. I went for final yesterday. . . the air handler for the make-up air is
1.) on it's own circuit in the panel and
2.) plugged into a wall outlet.
I am being told that if someone either flips the circuit breaker, or manually unplugs the air handler, the gas appliances will stop running (and therefore not require make-up air).
Is this typical or even possible?
