How many people do you think will be allowed in this space? MA

If lucky 49

Normally, require two exits over 50,,,

And you have the sq ft where I would require two exits,

With that said the building dept can sometimes set a lower occupant load

Does the basement already have fire sprinklers???

It does have fire sprinklers. If I was able to somehow put another exit and make both have big double doors would I be able to have like a hundred people when I did wine tasting as everybody will be standing up?

You should.

You should be able to get away with one regular size door.

You need 1500 sq ft for about 100

You do not break down sq ft for

Kitchen
Bathrooms
Storage
Dining

Best advice before you sign any contracts,,

Set down with the Building Official/ Department

Show them a simple floor plan, and explain your concept.

They should be able to tell you the ups and downs
