The cabinet is mounted to sheet steel. The old cabinet is behind the sheet steel, sans it's cover. One of the corrections was that a J-box must remain accessible. They came back with, "There are no splices, so it's not a J-box". Fair enough. It's a pull box that must remain accessible. Next inspection.....behind a picture in a bedroom wall....I found the access.

You apparently have never heard of the Four Leaf Clover Cover. If the hole is in the shape of a four leaf clover, no cover is needed.

More properly known at the "Luckey

Four Leaf Clover" As in "If we are luckey, we will never need acces to the connection" Or, "If we are lucky, there will never be a problem with the connection overheating"
 
Uh ohhhhh.. I do this all the time in my house! So you guys are telling me this ain't good? :devil
