Walls around commercial toilets and sinks need non absorbent material.

Anyone ever accept epoxy paint as an alternate?

I have a request for such but I don't think it would have the desired longevity as a surface mounted hard plastic or similar.

Some do...some don't....Your call....What level of use is expected in the bathroom?

Depending on the product, it may meet the intent.
