A new clarification from the International Code Council helps define how to classify facilities that repair and remanufacture large construction and agricultural machinery. The question focused on a business that disassembles heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and tractors, replaces broken parts, and ships engines off site for rebuilds. The company stores small amounts of hazardous fluids in rated cabinets but does not perform engine overhauls on site.
