IECC and screw base light fixtures

Current limiters are used on track lighting to comply with the IECC lighting power requirements.

Architects also like to use lamps with screw bases with LED lamps. But the screw bases always have a high rating.

Though not specifically stated (2015) does any one thing that using current limiter or circuit breaker to limit the current on a circuit serving these lamp bases would be acceptable?
